The girls are way behind in the recording of their new album because they’ve tripped over a massive writer’s block! If they could just relax and take a break, they might get their mojo back. Unfortunately, Kaz, their demanding manager, has locked them in the studio and won’t let them out until they’ve found the perfect rock tune!

In a moment of frustrated despair, Ami and Yumi kick a dusty amplifier revealing a genie! In order to find their musical inspiration, Ami and Yumi (with the genie as guide and occasional helper) will have to journey through history, using special guitars they’ll acquire to battle period perils and gather musical notes at each stop. Only after collecting all the energy will the girls have the entire perfect rock tune.
