The sequel to Space Channel 5 has landed, retaining the unique look and feel of the original. The basic game system has been untouched, simply copy the routine and rescue the hostages, who in turn will join your dance tribe in an effort to take over the invading alien hostility. There has been a whole lot more added however, offering more depth of game-play and something dynamically new to fans of the original. Firstly, polygon models have been used to render the backgrounds, these were movies in the original. This addition is complemented by real-time camera work, creating more dramatic effects on-screen.
Other major additions include new routine modes integrated into the game-play, including 'Rhythm Battle', where you take control of a musical instrument and must play in time with your opponent and 'Lyrics Battle'.
